Rebel can mean two organizations in FreeSpace:

• The Hammer of Light rebellion
  • A group of Vasudan splinters who refused to ally with the Terrans during the Great War.
• The Neo-Terra Front
  • Terran renegades who fought the GTVA up until the end of the Second Shivan Incursion
