Description:
INFR1 Tech Room Description
Serpents appear to be a hybridisation of the Basilisk and Manticore fighters that fought the Alliance in previous encounters with the Shivans. Its configuration suggests a heavy assault fighter role, a mandate which it fulfills well. Destroy them before they go after our bombers with their dual missile banks and heavy cannons.

I can barely say it's dangerous opponent. Serpent tries to take the best from it's parent designs, but it actually took the worst. It's much slower then Manticore and maneuver like a rock. Probably dangerous for unprotected freighters and other utility ships, but in majority of mods, this thing is mostly trying to kill you instead. It's a lot like Aeshma, so give it a favour and end it's miserable existence with couple accurate shots. It's weak armor will not oppose.
