Fighter squadron: 53rd Hammerheads
Description: The 53rd Hammerheads, GTD Aquitaine, must defend a convoy of Vasudan transports escaping Cygnus Prime.

Background

The GTVA are evacuating Cygnus Prime. Vasudan refugees are leaving the system in transport. The Aquitaine launches the Hammerheads to reinforce a fleeing Vasudan convoy.

Walkthrough

The mission should not cause problems. The Hercules fighters are easy to take down and they pose little threat to the convoy unless you are playing on Hard or Insane.
The only stage of the mission you may die in is when the Belisarius jumps in. Simply ignore that ship, the Psamtik will take care of it.

If you use your weapons well, you can collect a good amount of kills right at the start of the campaign.

The mission has no secondary or bonus goals. Primary objective is to defend at least one convoy ship.
