Tech Room Description

When a small strike team or boarding party has to capture an enemy ship, Argo transports usually do the job. However, there are some circumstances so dangerous that an Argo would be too much of a target. For these missions, call in a Svalin military shuttle. Armed with three Subach laser turrets, enough to deter any attackers, these transports are swift enough to dock with their target and release their cargo amidst heavy flak and turret fire. Optional shielding was added after initial combat tests, though the upgrade is expensive and relatively rare. Svalins are widely used in the SOC, and are also popular as diplomatic transports, as they are well-suited for atmospheric maneuvers.
