Description:
Tech Room Description
The GTF Selkie was developed as a direct result of the use of modified Shivan Mara class fighters during the Second Shivan War. The intention was to create a ship with the same high manoeuvrability and speed as the Mara, but which would also use standard GTVA components and thus be mass manufactured and maintainable. At present, the Selkie is completing an initial test deployment with the Special Operations Command – it is expected to be introduced into the main fleet as a replacement for the Perseus over the next decade.
