Description:
Tech Room Description
A newly encountered mass-produced Askaledian fighter, the Eitr is best described as a high-speed and high-maneuverability interdiction platform, capable of keeping up with our interceptors, while retaining the capability to threaten capital ships with the right loadout. Its configuration leaves it with very limited versatility once commited to the battlefield, but the craft is frighteningly effective at the role it is assigned for. The Eitr appears to be equipped with an almost-standard cockpit, despite it being operated by an interfaced Askaeldian.

Name Origin
Eitr is a mythical substance in Norse mythology. This liquid substance is the origin of all living things, the first giant Ymir was conceived from eitr. The substance is supposed to be very poisonous and is also produced by Jörmungandr (the Midgard serpent) and other serpents.
