Description:

Tech Room Description

Scattered for picket lines or in defense of space stations, turret mines are autonomous weapon systems that can operate independently from a warship or orbital installation. Internal reactors enable them to generate power for its dual turrets and shielding, and there are thrusters for limited movement. There are several variants of turret mines, from the most common, featuring standard lasers, to more advanced models toting higher potent beam weapons or missile tubes. The Kilrathi variant, while different in size and shape, is effectively the same as the Terran variant.
