Veterans may remember this model as the older appearance of the UEA Oculus.
The Shen Kuo appears in Chanticleer as a UEF AWACS. Their point defenses are poor, they're totally dependent on fighter protection, and they're vulnerable to just about everything - but they can jam the GTVA's heavy beam cannons and detect stealth fighters. In Antietam, evading the Avicenna's fire is trivial - it's the UEF interceptors you have to worry about.
