Description:

Tech Room Description

This cruiser size installation is able to defend herself against few fighter squadrons and also make an equal fight with a corvette. DS Goliath is first line jump nodes and important installation defence.


BtA Tech Room Description (TSS Adonis)

The Adonis-class is an outdated space station. It is inhospitable and temperamental, with spartan accommodations and outdated computer systems compared to modern installations. The station is also indefensible, mounting only a single anti-asteroid turret which can barely track fighter-scale targets. The few Adonises still in use remain so because of some specific customization, typically scientific in nature.

This model can be a pain in the neck to mod with. If you're going to use it in a mod, it's good to note that it uses at least 10 textures and is tile-mapped. Since it's an installation, also, when you want to make table edits, make sure not to set $Rotation time: to 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, even though it cannot rotate in game. This will cause the model to disappear, due to the engine trying to divide by zero. Instead, set the rotation time to some absurdly high number; 10000.0,10000.0,10000.0 should do the trick.
