The Star Wars Conversion is a total conversion for FreeSpace 2 Open. The aim of the project create a mod with Star Wars technology using the FreeSpace 2 Open engine. The planned shipset contains a number of classical and Expanded Universe craft, ranging from the famous Imperial Star Destroyer through the less-known Assault Frigate.
The project is actively progressing, with most of the staff engaged in making models necessary for an initial release.
