Tech Room Description

After the enormous losses of the Second Great War, Allied Command decided to experiment with small warships so powerfully armed they would give even Shivan juggernauts pause. The Nike corvette was the result. Armed with seven beam cannons, including an experimental long-range anti-capital ship beam cannon, and 13 turrets, the Nike is overpowered, overgunned and extremely expensive to produce. Constructed exclusively at the Triton Dynamics shipyards orbiting Antares IV, only six Nike-class corvettes have been commissioned so far.
