Cerberus: Emergance is the upcoming introductory chapter to the Cerberus campaign revived and headed once more by Starwolf1991. The revitalization has so far seen a complete re-write of the plotline and overhaul of the modification's content to bring it up to par with other Freespace 2 Open modificaitons. As ACT 1, Emergence will feature a seven to eight mission campaign. Other ACTS will be developed and released as they are completed.

Description

Cerberus: Emergance is the upcoming introductory chapter to the Cerberus campaign revived and headed once more by Starwolf1991. The revitalization has so far seen a complete re-write of the plotline and overhaul of the modification's content to bring it up to par with other Freespace 2 Open modificaitons. As ACT 1, Emergence will feature a seven to eight mission demo campaign, introducing the developing conflict and what lies ahead. Other ACTS will be developed and released as they are completed.

Plotline

Thirteen years have passed since the Second Great War, and the GTVA has slowly recovered from the nightmare brought forth by the Shivan menace. Despite expectations, the Alliance between the Terrans and Vasudans remains strong as they pursue their joint-goals and move to ensure both stability and peace in the systems of their systems.

You are Wolf, a freshly-recruited Terran pilot from the Training Academy in Vega. You remember little about your past, but have easily made a life for yourself like other GTVA cadets. Alongside your two wingmen, Ghost and Avatar, you are slated to participate in a brief Terran-Vasudan Exchange Program on-board the GVD Nafretiri. Afterwards, you will join the Terran 7th fleet in Alpha Centauri.

What begins as what may seem to be a simple renegade threat will quickly develop into much more as a distant storm rises.......
