The GTDr Amazon Adv. Model VIII-D is a Deimos reskin to retrofit older Deimos corvettes per the Post-Capella-era Surplus Autonomy Initiative aimed at train GTVA pilots on shock ops against Sol’s United Earth Federation fortifications. As the Deimos line swells to replace the Fenris and Leviathan cruiser roles, and influenced by attrition in the Sol theater, the Deimos retrofit is being reviewed to provide automated outpost security and anti-piracy roles within GTVA space.

Tech Room Description
With the initial success of the Surplus Autonomy Initiative to provide salvaged warships as autonomous security and training platforms, Project Mannequin revived Deimos-class corvettes too heavily damaged for continued military service and repurposed them to expand the new Amazon Advanced training drone series VIII. The model VIII-D is now being used to train pilots in supporting siege and shock tactics, where the Deimos’ rapid-charge reactors permit short jump cooldowns, and counter United Earth Federation fortifications. Project Mannequin is reviewing the widely popular Deimos as an alternative autonomous platform in civil security and anti-piracy operations within GTVA-held space.
