Description:
INFR1 Tech Room Description
The Chimera is the first Shivan ship we've seen with stealth technology. Although her flight characteristics are slightly higher than average, the stealth attribute greatly increases their lethality to GTVA fighters. Consider the Chimera a high-priority threat, since secondary weapons are all but useless against it.
Nostos Tech Room Description
The Chimera is one of the larger Shivan fighters encountered. It carries Shivan beam weaponry and the deadly Melkath hunter drone. Approach a Chimera with extreme caution.

INFR1 introduced this ship as a stealth craft, and it inherited this trait in other mods featuring the Chimera. It's somewhat large for a stealth ship, and has a big top profile so it's not that hard to hit. I found it more durable than other Shivan fighters of similar proportions. If you can't locate a Chimera without your HUD, wait for some unlucky friendly fighters to become prey for nearby Chimeras. They love to sit on tails of your wingmates often ignoring you, so watch for friendly fighters chased by red lasers coming from nowhere. I guarantee they are coming from a Chimera.
