Wings of Dawn Tech Room Description
The Cordi's lightest craft is designated the 'Soldier'. A small, highly maneuverable craft with glide capability and lateral thrusters, the Soldier can be incredibly difficult to hit in battle. It is only lightly shielded and armored however, meaning even a glancing shot can severely damage the fighter, though they remain highly dangerous in large numbers. Soldiers are equipped with a full-sized jump drive and are capable of entering Starlances on their own power.
Like other Cordi craft, the Soldier appears to be plated with a variety hardened organic carapace. The carapace is resistant to solid projectiles, but burns quickly under sustained fire from energy-based weaponry.
