==Background==
The GTCv Chanticleer and its fighter squadron, the 52nd Nomads, attempt to destroy a [[Narayana]] artillery frigate, the Rajput, before it escapes.

==Walkthrough==
You're going to be doing a little of everything: taking down subsystems, dogfighting, and intercepting bombers, so make sure you can do everything.  The Aurora, with a Maxim in the top bank, is ideal for this.

You'll start with the Rajput and two [[Sanctus]] cruisers at long range, with a screen of 12 UEF fighters.  You have six minutes to take prevent the Rajput's escape, either by destroying its navigation subsystem or its engines.

Start by drawing the UEF fighters back to the Chanticleer's task force.  GTVA fighters are fragile and if you try to banzai the Feds you'll probably get shot down.  The [[GTC Cretheus|Cretheus-class]] gunboats, the Firefly and Beaufort, are murderously effective at taking out UEF fighters.  Once you clear the screen, call in Gamma wing's bombers.  Use Trebuchet and Maxim fire to knock out the navigation subsystem.  The navigation subsystem is much easier to destroy than the engines, and it will prevent the Rajput from jumping.

If you've cleared the fighter screen, around the four-minute mark the UEF will sortie a wing of [[UEF Uhlan]] fighters and a wing of [[UEB Lapith]] bombers.  Drop whatever you're doing and take out the bombers, and order Alpha wing to attack the bombers - the Lapiths can and will destroy the Chanticleer quickly with their torpedoes.  Once Capricorn is dead, help out the Chanticleer with the Rajput by knocking out the torpedo launchers.  After the Rajput is destroyed, all surviving UEF ships will warp out.

Some dialogue will follow. After the dialogue, approach the Chanticleer's landing bay to end the mission.

* Chanticleer is a mythical rooster from the medieval fable "Chanticleer and the Fox", and appeared in Geoffrey Chaucer's classic Canterbury Tales.
* The mission's name comes from Revelation 6:2. "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."
