SC Abel

The SC Abel is a Shivan cruiser originally created for Over the Top.

The two incarnations of the SC Abel are vastly different; though the original Abel in Inferno Release 1 was an extremely heavily armored and slow cruiser (akin to the Lilith), the INFASA variant appears to be a fast strike cruiser similar to the Cain.

Description:

Inferno R1 Description

The strange Abel cruiser is rarely seen in combat. Although more heavily armored than the Raguel, its armament of small beam cannons and laser turrets makes it the less feared Shivan cruiser in battle. The design appears to be based on the old Cain and Lilith models.

Inferno: Alliance Standalone Description

The weakest of the Shivan cruisers, the Abel is near equal to the Vasudan Aten in strength. However the Abel is one of the fastest cruisers ever encountered which helps make up for its poor armour. Since it is able to out run our own cruisers, it must be destroyed quickly before it can escape.

Abel was Cain's brother. They both were byblical characters. Cain later killed Abel.
