In the Inferno continuity, Vasudan Central Intelligence is the Vasudan navy's elite intelligence gathering, research and espionage branch, the counterpart to the Terran Special Operations Command (SOC). VCI reports directly to Galactic Terran-Vasudan Intelligence and has been primarily responsible for the success of Operation Templar and the development of the Ptah stealth fighter, Sekhmet assault bomber, and Akheton SDG technologies. After the events at Capella and the fission of the GTVI, VCI began researching and developing their own elite capital warships and fleet creations.
