The AF Phylaki is a user-made Ancient fighter. Initially made for Inferno Release 1, it was ultimately cut, but was included in as a bonus craft in the patch. It has since been reskined used in Blue Planet: Age of Aquarius as a Vishnan fighter.

Ancient-Shivan War Tech Room Description

The Phylaki is the armored fist of the Empire's fighting forces. The Kato's counterpart, it is equally old in terms of active service and age. It was built for battlefields where immense firepower and high armor plating are both essential for victory. The Phylaki's offensive capabilities makes it a credible threat even to targets sometimes larger than itself. However, the complexity and age of the design prevents compatibility with our more advanced weapon systems such as the Quasar anti-material cannon. Despite its drawbacks, this fighter's strengths far outweigh its weaknesses. The strategic deployment of a Phylaki fighter wing could quickly turn the tide of a battle.

Developer Notes

Initially made for INFR1, the Phylaki was ultimately cut, but released in the INFR1 SCP patch as a bonus ship without a table. This original model was reskinned and used as the Vishnan Preacher in BP. A second version of the Phylaki was then inluded in the INFSCP Ancients pack before it was cut, and was given in the ASW team (along with the rest of the INSCP Ancients fleet), where it was used and ultimately got a hi-poly upgrade. The ASW team kept Inferno's original name of "Phylaki" for the fighter for convinience.
