Description:

Dimensional Eclipse Tech Room Description

The B/SX22-FFR31 Yukikaze Custom 'Super Sylph' is the second Yukikaze prototype, and the original incarnation of the simplified 'Sylphid' design. Based on the technologies developed for the Commonwealth SpecOps, the Super Sylph was funded and built under contract of ace pilot Kayla Taylor. Deviating from the Mave's complex and extreme-handling spaceframe, the Super Sylph follows a more conventional design. A heavy two-seater design laced with sensors and a TARPS, the Super Sylph was more fitting of electronic warfare-reconnaissance-AWACS than interception. Two sub-orbital capable Super Phoenix Mark V engines changes that, with its high output providing a massive thrust-to-weight ratio since the Super Sylph is armed with a three-barrel rotary cannon, ventral medium weapon mounts and enhanced-capacity external missile pods, although it is slightly slower and less maneuverable than the Yukikaze.
