Lacking shielding, jump drives, or afterburners, and being even more sluggish than the Pillager, the Bombarier's sole role appears to be delivering high-explosive unguided rockets and torpedoes to capital ships. While these weapons are highly effective against the reflective armor commonly found of LSF warships, they are largely incapable of breaching warship-grade shield generators and are only dangerous if the targeted warship has been stripped of its shielding.
