This is the first Shivan asset comparable in size and function to what we can possibly classify as an installation. As such, it should be considered capable of supplementing and eventually replacing the Lucifer as Shivan strategic coordinator. We can only speculate about other potential capabilities, such as the function of the SI Ungoliant subinstallations, which appear to be four large panels located around the Arachnas and seem perfectly synchronized with it. Our current classification sees the Ungoliant as subsystems, but they may in fact be separate entities on their own. Command has classified the Arachnas as a Class A threat to the survival of the GTA and PVN Alliance.

Description:

INFR1 Tech Room Description

Apart from static communications nodes, the Arachnas platform is the first Shivan installation we've ever seen. Heavily armed with huge beam cannons, an anti-subsystem strike is recommended before sending in warships to finish off this station.


Series Resurrecta Description

This is the first Shivan asset comparable in size and function to what we can possibly classify as an installation. As such, it should be considered capable of supplementing and eventually replacing the Lucifer as Shivan strategic coordinator.
