What's with the "this is not canon, because I say so" policy? Okay then, let's see; a) Volition made the game demo, b) they released it, c) they made the missions(!), d) they re-released them on their website, d) the missions tie in with the FS2 story line(!!) and f) V later even re-re-released them. How the (expletive) can anyone uphold the -- let's face it -- quite delusional idea that this is not canon? Because the staff from V hasn't sent each and every user a handwritten, personalized letter pointing out that these missions are, in fact, taking place in the FS universe? (As an aside, they didn't do so for the retail version, either..) Then again, user made campaigns(!) are considered canon? Wow. I'm thoroughly impressed. Sorry for the rant, but I just had to, y'know. --Selectah 12:06, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

The only thing that could be seen as being non-canon is the mention of the GTD Aquitaine in the command debriefing. Notwithstanding that the GTD Aquitaine was present throughout the Second Shivan Incursion, anybody can be recommended a transfer anywhere in any fleet. The tiny mention in the debriefing is simply not enough to warrant the bold claim "like dude this is like not canon because it just like isn't y'know". IMVHO. --Selectah 11:58, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
