The Vasudan Parliamentary Empire

Abbreviated as the VPE, as the name explains, the Vasudans control their empire in a Parliamentary way. Strangely enough, the head of the empire is the emperor, during FreeSpace timeline, Khonsu II. The VPE had been in existance for a long time when they first contacted the Galactic Terran Alliance in 2320.
The centre of the VPE was Vasuda Prime until devastated by SD Lucifer in 2335. After, the bulk of the Vasudans flee to Vega and Aldebaran and started establishing colonies there.

The Vasudan peoples were always living under parliamentary authority, leaving decisions to those who are skilled politicians, but also let Vasudan citizens to openly discuss and request changes in the Vasudan constitution.
