Can anyone make it out which mission is it taken from? Because if I guess it right, it's the first mission. In the screenshot, the player flies the Herc II, which is unavailable in the first mission. - [[User:TopAce|TopAce]] 09:04, 23 August 2008 (CDT) | Can anyone make it out which mission is it taken from? Ganymede
- You wrote that the Ganymede is never used ingame, but actually it's used in a multiplayer dogfight. - Darth DySkO 18:28, 30 Apr 2007 (CET)
- True, but never used inside the Single Player. I would change that section soon.
Pics?
- Perhaps someone w/ a scanner (or pic files of the box art) could beautify the article w/ scans/pics/eye candy? Especially the "inconsistencies" section? I could do it, but I haven't neither the box nor any digital reproductions. Selectah 05:00, 6 July 2007 (CDT)
- Uploaded the European Version of the Boxed FreeSpace 2 (named FreeSpacebox-1.jpg and FreeSpacebox-2.jpg.) Could someone verify that these two images work as thumbnails? I am getting a error displaying the thumbnail, but no problem when clicked on actual link. Nubbles 12:30, 11 June 2008 (CDT)
- They don't work, sayeth the Snail on 12:50, 11 June 2008 (CDT)
Sources?
Ok, this is kinda an afterthought. Are there any sources to this trivia, like, around the 'net? Would be happy to read. Selectah 05:24, 6 July 2007 (CDT)
- If you ask me where a specific thing comes from, I could probably point you in the right direction. A lot of the stuff that isn't in-game is either from concept art or the Volition website. The FS2 website has an interesting section, Bug Fix of Day, which gives you a bit of designer commentary. I fear that some other statements (like "the Ra was used to deploy fighters" ??? ) are innacurate fanon, but what the hell. This is Wiki. Mustang19
Sure thing. I was wondering where the "too wacky for release" thing regarding the Corkscrew is from? Anyone? Selectah 04:02, 1 April 2008 (CST)
- It was definitely a Volition comment. It may be in the tables, I'm not sure. Snail 12:52, 1 April 2008 (CST)
HLD Prophecy
How come when I play it, it is enemy? Nubbles 13:11, 13 September 2007 (CDT) Open the mission in FRED and see what side it's set as. It'll shoot at you anyway, though.Mustang19 14:56, 13 September 2007 (CDT)
Both Neutral and Hostile are red in-game. Friendly is green and unknown is purple. There is no way to distinguish between Neutral and Hostile unless you go into FRED. Snail 13:03, 1 April 2008 (CST)
GVT Qeb
Says something about a concept art for a transport called the "GVT Qeb." Citation needed Snail 16:47, 3 April 2008 (CST)
Go on the Volition website and look for FS2 concept art. Or look through the FS2 credits pics. There's an Argo-looking thing labeled "GVT Qeb". Mustang19 22:58, 11 June 2008 (CDT)
