Loacoon is a Regulus Syndicate protectorate in the Epsilon Pegasi system, just like Erato.
As most planets and planetoids in the Serendipity campaign, Loacoon is named after a planet featured in the Colony Wars series, which in turn was named after the mythological Trojan priest Laocoon who tried to warn his fellow citizens about the threat of the Trojan Horse. Please note that CW developers did not spell the name correctly, and this error was intentionally retained in SR.
