Admiral Aken Bosch was the former commander fo the GTVA sixth fleet, who rebelled to become leader of the Neo-Terran front, an anti-Vasudan movement that rebelled against the GTVA eighteen months prior to the events of Freespace 2. Bosch's true motives were more complex than those of his organization, however. The NTF was little more than a cover up for Bosch's development of the ETAK device and his attempts to contact and form an alliance with the Shivans. Bosch was captured when Shivan forces boarded his flagship, the NTF Iceni in the nebula beyond Gamma Draconis. His eventual fate is unknown.
