SB Taurvi

|
The SB Taurvi is a Shivan-designed bomber. While the Taurvi exhibits a stronger hull than any other Shivan bomber, including the Nephilim- and Seraphim-classes, as well as a fairly small profile from the front, back and sides, its two secondary banks, three gun mounts and lack of an afterburner makes it significantly weaker in most respects.

FS2 Tech Room Description
The SB Taurvi is a Shivan vessel that has only recently been encountered. The Taurvi is one of the weaker Shivan bomber classes, but still the equal of every bomber in the GTVA arsenal. Not as maneuverable as a Nahema, nor as tough as a Seraphim or Nephilim, the Taurvi appears to be a Shivan compromise between speed and power.

Veteran Comments
The Taurvi is a trade-off. Although it has half the capacity of the SB Nephilim it is faster, and although it's slower than a SB Nahema, it is better armored, capable of standing up to dual GTM Trebuchets which is an incredible advantage. The worst thing about this bomber is its small capacity, but it gets its payload to its target pretty well most of the time. It's not a great, but not a horrible bomber.
Its armor is higher than most Shivan fighters' and bombers'; it can survive multiple hits from Trebuchets and Tornados.
Not really that terrible—as a previous commenter said, it's a trade-off. It may not have any exceptional capabilities, but it's a sturdy and well-made bomber, and it does have a rather thin target profile.
As a bomber, rather ineffective. Its secondaries are incredibly small and primary firepower is less than most fighters' and bombers'.
This bomber really annoys. Between the shields and armor, it has *just* enough hit points to survive a dual treb hit. But if both missiles hit, the bomber is now reduced to 6% HI, making it an easy target but not enough to justify using another treb on it if it is out of primary range.
It also doesn't help that the same double Treb hit also tends to knock out their engine subsystem, making it a target usually around 3 klicks away.
