It has been brief period of calm in the long war. Both Terrans and Vasudans, exhausted by campaigns in Antares and Regulus, have held back from major assaults for the better part of a year. There is even talk of a ceasefire proposal being drafted by Terran command. But then a Vasudan military build-up in Deneb puts the Terran bastion system of Vega onto high alert. The system, in Terran hands since almost the start of the war, is about to be tested by the most powerful Vasudan warship ever designed.
