The Minnow is mentioned in a few FreeSpace 1 command briefs. It was sent to defend Antares against a Shivan push to Vasuda Prime.

The following information has not been confirmed by Volition and is therefore not canon for the FreeSpace universe.
In the Fan-campaign "Blue Planet - Age of Aquarius" the Minnow appears as a wrecked Orion-class Destroyer and was found by Commander Bei and his wing during the pursuit of the GTC Duke.
