The SC Daeva

Description:

Tech Room Description

Shivans - Daeva Medium Cruiser

Similar to the Cain but stronger and better armed, the Daeva appears to be a Shivan medium cruiser designed to fill the gap between the Cain and Lilith classes, despite many similarities in construction, the Daeva seems to be completly new design. Larger than both the Cain and Lilith, she has a larger number of defensive turrets including 3 anti-fighter beams, heavy flak cannons and cluster missiles. Probably designed as an escort vessel, they are frequently seen assisting key vessels of the Shivan armada. Its single spinal cannon has a much smaller firing angle than older cruisers, but it's much more heavily armoured and covered by the hull from all sides, making it much more difficult to destroy from the flanks.

Tough cruiser with a single, well-armored beam cannon, that's situated in the covered spot at the very front. Very hard to de-beam from close range, especially when the ship is moving. 3 SAAA beams are a major nuissance.
