The Earth Defense Demo

Sad and unexpected. In other words, the new ED team doesn't want any connection to the old ED Demo, which is known not to be a top of the notch mod. Most of the new Earth Defense team refuses the connection between the new ED and the old, now outdated Demo - that's why edits of this page may result in continuous contrasts (and it's already happened). Because I think removing all info related to the Demo a bit selfish and quite pointless for Wiki purposes, because the Demo is the only available Earth Defense release (with the other one being a WIP), I'm creating this page to decide wheter or not the Demo should be included in the main article. --- Mobius

Look at it this way then: The Earth Defense Demo has nothing to do with the current mod in production. Additionally, if Inferno can have multiple articles, I do not see why Earth Defense cannot.. - Snail 18:40, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Inferno has multiple articles, all linked to the main Inferno article, meaning that everyone can read the criticisms I have personally added to be politically correct, not selfish. By applying this logic, even if Earth Defense has completely changed, both the Demo and the current continuity should be mentioned in the main article. --- Mobius
The team members have agreed that the way it is now is the way it should be. - Snail 17:49, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
You need to know if Wiki contributors also agree. I'm afraid that, sooner or later, someone may "reunite" the new ED and the old Demo. Anticipating that edit would be, by far, the less-selfish solution. --- Mobius
If someone does merge it, then I will revert it. The opinion of the team is more important than the opinion of Wiki contributors in this case. - Snail 19:54, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Good point here, but I think someone is going to complain. Let's hope it won't happen, because Upgrading campaigns is enough. --- Mobius
If someone is going to complain don't let it be you. - Snail 20:00, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
If the team says that it's okay in one article, then that's the way it will be. - TopAce 20:08, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
The team's opinion is to leave it in two separate articles, one for the current mod and the other one for the cancelled ED demo mod. - Snail 20:15, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
