The UEF Ainsarii

Description:

Blue Planet: War in Heaven Tech Room Description

The Ainsarii is a next-generation stealth fighter recently commissioned for the United Earth Navy. A swift and maneuverable fighter, the Ainsarii has sacrificed armour to house an advanced electronics scrambling suite and a high-performance reactor to power it. It was developed by Jovian scientists independently of the GTVA's Pegasus project. Strangely, although all signs suggest the Ainsarii has entered limited production, none have yet been deployed to combat units on even a trial basis.

UEF Ainsarii#Dream Tech Room Description

The Fedayeen dreamscape construct interacts unpredictably with the human mind. Visualizations are often idiosyncratic and deeply personal. Many pilots, however, report visualizing themselves and others as spacecraft.

In combat situations, the Ainsarii is surprisingly potent for a stealth ship. With as many as 5 gunpoints and a default loadout consisting of the most advanced UEF fighter-mounted weaponry known to date, namely a quad Sidhe and an underslung UX Accelerator, it packs a massive punch and can deal it swiftly before hiding back in the shadows. As far as survivability goes, notwithstanding the stealth, the Ainsarii has similar hitpoints and shields to the Uhlan and Kentauroi and better turn rate than both, but has a larger target profile. Speed and afterburner is inbetween the Uhlan and Kent.

Note that the stealth is almost always FREDed differently in each specific mission. For example, Everything is Permitted checks the line of sight of enemy fighters, whereas Her Finest Hour only deals with weapon fire and AWACS range.
