**Because Iota wing ''isn't'' scripted to arrive after Kappa 3 is blown up.  Look at the mission file.  Iota wing has three possible arrival triggers, none of which have anything to do with Kappa 3. -- [[User:Goober5000|Goober5000]] 00:55, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

A game of Tag reveration

  • Ok, how come you reverted the note I added that Iota wing is scripted to arrive after Kappa 3 is blown up. Like with the Malta thing from above, I used cheats to keep Kappa 3 alive thoughout the mission and Iota wing only showed up a few seconds after I issued the ~k (instant kill) on Kappa 3. Grunt minion22 6:57, 16 December 2009
    • Because Iota wing isn't scripted to arrive after Kappa 3 is blown up. Look at the mission file. Iota wing has three possible arrival triggers, none of which have anything to do with Kappa 3. -- Goober5000 00:55, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
      • It's more straightforward to just extract the mission from the main VP file and look at it in FRED. As you just saw, one-time observations aren't very accurate. - TopAce 23:21, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
        • Roger, just did that and it showed that me that they spawn shortly after alpha 2 dies and the other 2 warp in SEXP. Sorry for the inconvince - Grunt minion22 6:360pn, 17 December 2009
