Essentially a stretched and modified Sathanas mesh, the pre-Release 1 SSJ Gigas was created by Woomeister circa 2002, during the early stages of the Inferno mod. It was later dropped and replaced by the Gigas model ultimately seen in Release 1. It was later released as part of the Inferno Outtakes Pack.
This mesh was also flipped and mirrored in order to create the SH Gargant, a large Shivan capital ship which has yet to be released but was believed to play a significant role in the canceled Inferno Release 2. The Gargant has garnered some notoriety in the Inferno fanbase and the wider FreeSpace community as being an overpowered and undefeatable enemy ship.
