The noted resemblance to the [[GTB Surt]] was coincidental, but another version of the Hera was later made with massive railgun banks replacing some of the gunpoints for the [[Scroll of Atankharzim]] mod at their request. This resemblance was also utilized by Inferno Team who replaced old Surt model with Hera in Nostos modpack. |

Tech Room Description
The Hera is the heaviest Terran bomber created to date. Armed with multiple primary cannons and a massive amount of missiles, the Hera can easily annihilate all specifications of capital ships. Capable of carrying the massive Nemesis warhead, the Hera is known to be among the most dangerous bombers in the fleet. However, despite this, it is very slow and very unmanageable, similar to the earlier Boanerges and Ursa. Though the Hera can easily rip apart enemy capital ships, the Hera struggles to combat even small fighters, so escort wings should always be deployed along with Hera bombers.
The ability to carry the new Nemesis antimatter warhead has made the Hera a dreadfully dangerous ship against capital ship targets. Even without heavy bombs, the Hera can still do significant damage with its heavy laser cannon mounts, capable of carrying most types of primary weapons, including the new Flux mass driver.
The Hera replaces the Ursa and Boanerges, and solves the problems of speed and maneuverability somewhat. However, its main advantage is definitely its supreme firepower, capable of laying waste to ships as large as destroyers.

The railgun version included in the ED dump has rotating subobjects for the second bank that are visible under the ship, but is otherwise identical.
