ACT 1 - MISSION 13

Fighter squadron: 74th Templars

Description: Reinforce a strike force attempting to liberate Ross 128C.

Background

In high orbit above Ross 128C, the GTCv Indignation, the 47th Cutthroats and 500th Gladiators had engaged the EA's SR-4 Installation Cluster. However, the strike has deteriorated.

Alpha and Beta Wings of the 74th are on scramble call to reinforce. Should EA forces withdraw to the Rio Grande installation, the 74th are to support the Indignation in liberating Rio Grande.

Walkthrough

You have Alpha and Beta Wings, flying Advanced Persei with Subach HL-12s, Maelstrom and Corinthos missiles.

Uh... uh oh. The Indignation and her escorts have been destroyed, and the whole battle space is a mess. Also, take a look at the planet out in the distance. Ignore the capital ships on the far side, they'll run off.

In the meantime, start scanning the SR-4 Installation, then scan for surviving ships. The rest of your squadron expresses their worry, and for good reason, including communications disruption.

Once you scan the last ship, if it hasn't dawned on anyone yet, some familiar looking ships appear...

... yeah, that is not good at all.

At that point, start evading and get yourself to a safe distance point. Watch out for beam cannons targeting you and your wingmen. Try to not lose them as much as possible.

Once you get to safe distance, get out of there. Your coordinates are set to the Rio Grande installation, upon arrival, you re-establish contact with Terran Command.

Start with scanning what's left of the Ephialtes then scan the Europa. After that, scan the Rio Grande's Communications.

Once that's done, the Ravana-class Sammael will arrive to clean out what's left. Command will find out Eleanor Karpinsky is on-board the Rio Grande. After an argument with Command, she'll provide her intel on the Earth Alliance if the Templars can get her and any survivors out of there.

Start by defending the installation. At this point, the support ship will be available.

Once you hear that the survivors are on the Europa, assign your wingmen to defend that transport. Omega Wing of Alves heavy assault fighters will arrive and assist in the escort.

When the Europa undocks from the station, the Moloch-class Vakteth will come in. Shoot its main cannon out with your Corinthos missiles. Keep defending the transport from assault craft until it can safely depart and follow her out.
