+ | Contrary to what the name origin is, the Adamantium is an incredibly fragile ship. Easily taken by a wing of fighters when alone, but will almost always appear in triples. The main threat of this ship is they usually show up in numbers, allowing each other to cover one another. They only pose a threat to fighters and will not last long against other capital and screening vessels. The point defense load on the ships does vary a bit from mission to mission, as later missions have them with antifighter beams on them, which signifies that not only the Terrans are getting better tech, but also the Exarchy as well.}} | ||

The Askaeldian Frigate Adamantium |

Description:
Tech Room Description
A fast attack frigate, the Adamantium is the lightest warship employed by the Exarchy. While equipped with a number of anti-strikecraft emplacements and a single light thermal lance, a lone Adamantium is rarely a threat to a well-piloted strikecraft or warship, and hence are always deployed in companies of three. They generally serve as expendable screening forces, screening for higher-value targets. Askaeldian-designed warships are nearly fully-automated - a single Askaeldian interfaces with the craft's onboard computer, controlling every aspect of the ship.
