In the Blue Planet continuity, the Scimitar is the main fighter of the Gaian Effort, a radical ecoterrorist faction. Although technologically outdated, the Scimitar is highly versatile, being compatible with a vast array of modern weapon systems, allowing it to achieve near parity with United Earth Federation forces. They are often deployed in large numbers and employ irregular shock tactics in order to compensate for their shortcomings.
