Description:
TCP Tech Room Description
Development of the GTF Carabus attack fighter started within the Centaur Project in 2375. Built around a third generation fusion reactor with integrated plasma gun and drive, the Carabus has higher power output, shield performance and speed, than any other fighters. Its weaponry has been optimized for pre-emptive strikes on enemy superdestroyers. Because of its main gun and payload, GTVA pilots just call it Nut Cracker. The support of the Carabus requires special equipment, only available on Trifid Class Carriers, and the fighter actually extends the defence systems of these ships.
