Description:

FS1 Tech Room Description

The new Seraphim class bomber is the Shivan's latest threat. It is three times larger than a Nephilim, and carries a massive payload at least 150% the size of the Nephilim. With strong hulls and almost impenetrable shield system, the Seraphim is easily the most dangerous bomber we have yet encountered.

The Seraphim has been designated a Class A threat to GTA destroyers and cruisers. In unpopulated systems, it is to be considered a Class B threat.

FS2 Tech Room Description

The SB Seraphim is a familiar foe to GTVA forces. They appear to be similar to Nephilims in speed, armor, and shield strength, but have demonstrated a larger bomb capacity.

Veteran Comments

Kill it and kill it now! The Seraphim poses too great a danger to friendly capital craft to be allowed to live. If any Shivan bomber in a mission is going to be carrying high-yield bombs like the Helios, the odds are very good it's going to be a Seraphim. Even if they aren't, the Seraphim has enough capacity in its secondary banks to do serious damage to anything short of a juggernaut. Seraphim should be the number-one priority for any interceptor pilot.

An excellent bomber, this is one of the designs people often say the GVB Sekhmet is based off of, probably more likely this than the SB Nahema because the Hammer of Light and SB Nahema didn't ever run into eachother (at least, canonically.) Either way, this Shivan equivalent of the Ursa, or GTB Boanerges is tough and deadly, and a serious threat to everything ranging from cruisers to juggernaughts.
