FreeSpace: Reunited

This mod is currently under development and may not release until some time in 2009. The idea behind the mod is that it merges the FreeSpace Universe with the Battlestar Galactica Universe since (if you think about it) both series have semi-identical histories and plots. With this being said, the GTVA and CDF (Colonial Defence Fleet) are going to become allies and, in the process, form the Coalition (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MOD IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT AND THE FACTION NAME IS NOT YET CONFIRMED!). In the campaign, the player plays as Alpha 1 and fights for the Coalition against the Cylons, but, unbenounced to the Coalition, an old enemy is stirring and is itching for revenge. Also, in addition to the allience between the GTVA and CDF, they develope plans for an even more ambitious idea than the GTVA Colossus. A plan to develope the first SUPER jugernaught that combines the Colossus's design with that of the CDF's Promithous-Class Battlestar!
