The GTD Atropos is an advanced destroyer that appears in Twist of Fate as a successor to the GTD Orion. While the Atropos cannot focus as much firepower on a single target as a beam-refit Orion, it has better point defense and is all-around a more effective warship.

The model itself is a reworked version of OTT's ITD Ryujin.

Description:

Twist of Fate Tech Room Description

When the Vasudans rolled out their Hatshepsut destroyers, our Orion-class destroyers were so outmatched that development of their replacement was immediately accelerated. The Atropos class of destroyers enters service in the GTA with the express purpose of one-upping the Hatshepsut. In this, it succeeds admirably. With 32 turrets, including six large beam cannons, the Titan is stronger and more powerful than the Hatshepsut. Atrobos destroyers are being rushed into service as fast as the GTA can build them, with a complete replacement of the Orion expected by 2352.

The Atropos is like a stronger Hecate; it can't bring three BGreens to bear on a target like an Orion can due to its firing arcs, but it can seriously mess up enemy fighters and bombers. The 140,000 hitpoints give it more endurance than any retail destroyer aside from the SD Demon. Against warships it is best deployed pointing directly at the target, where it can lash out with both of its forward BBlues. In broadside engagements it can only employ one BBlue and one TerSlash.
