The following information has not been confirmed by Volition and is therefore not canon for the FreeSpace universe. Also, it may contain spoilers regarding Series Resurrecta campaigns. |

Series Resurrecta weaponry is fundamentally the same as FreeSpace 1's, with certain additions. The major difference lies on anti-warship armaments, which are much more effective than regular blob turrets. Each species has its own line of anti-warship weapons mounted on cruisers, corvettes and destroyers alike, and specifications for each weapon vary depending on a number of factors.
Primary Weapons
Shivan
Shivan primary weapons are based on the statistics for the series going from the Shivan Light Laser to the Shivan Uber Laser. They're named after the scales from Sin in Final Fantasy X, and Sin itself.

Secondary Weapons
Shivan
Shivan secondary weapons in SerRes are mostly the equivalent of Shivan-unique weapons based on their Terran and Vasudan counterparts, but have come out with their own names. Future releases of Series Resurrecta may lead to these weapons diverging in terms of stats and performance, however. These weapons are named after the final bosses in Ultimecia's castle, seen in the Italian version Final Fantasy VIII, as well as on some major bosses from the Italian version of Final Fantasy IX (these names are not the same as the ones seen in the English version).
The Mandragora and Kraken are however exclusive to SerRes.

Mandragora
Subspace torpedo, used by selected Seraphim bombers such as the Malebranche assault unit.
Kraken
Extreme range missile, used solely by a limited number of Serpent-class fighters.
Warship Armaments
Terran
Terran warships in SerRes rely on railguns to counter opposing assets of similar size. These weapons are based on the original INFA railguns, though each entry has been edited. Railguns are named after three aces from the game Ace Combat 2, who on their own have been named after the 1994 movie The Three Swordsmen.
