Fomalhaut

Fomalhaut, also known as Alpha Piscis Austrini, is the brightest star in the constellation Piscis Austrinus. In the FreeSpace Universe, it is not included in any of the official node maps, but is featured in a number of campaigns and mods, such as Inferno and Series Resurrecta, as the system beyond Ross 128.

Trivia

• The name of this star system is never revealed in Gehenna's Gate missions, but the filename of the skysphere texture is "skybox_Fomalhaut.png". Furthermore, due to GehG's initial nature as an Inferno: Alliance unofficial minicampaign, the featured star system was indeed supposed to be Fomalhaut. It's a clear reference to the classic Inferno Release 1 campaign.
