Morpheus (SR)

The large gas giant Morpheus is an immense natural resource for the Coalition, as well as a core planet around which the main infrastructures and colonies have been developed. While the planet itself is obviously not habitable, two of its larger moons, Fortuna and Midas, are the most important centers of the Adhara Coalition. Other than providing the Adharans with a constant and enormous supply of exploitable gas, Morpheus helps protecting the colonies from the intense radiation bursts of the Adhara A star as they orbit around it.

As most planets and planetoids in the Serendipity campaign, Morpheus is named after a planet featured in the Colony Wars series, which in turn was named after the Greek god of dreams and sleep.
