Several corporations are credited with the manufacture of numerous technologies used throughout the FreeSpace, including weaponry and ships. Named corporations are included here, along with a list of products they are credited with manufacturing. Apparently, all these corporations are manufacturers of the Colossus, as seen in the Colossus cutscene and intel_GTVA.ani.

Many corporations were named after staff members of the developer Volition.
