The Regulus Syndicate was one of the major Terran blocs that formed after the end of the Great War and the subsequent collapse of the Galactic Terran Alliance, and eventually rejoined a greater alliance under Beta Aquilae Convention and the Galactic Terran-Vasudan Alliance in 2358. Though obviously headquartered in Regulus, no details about its nature or social makeup are known.

Though it's likely a coincidence, the name Syndicate may have been chosen by Volition to refer to some criminal activities, and considering that one of the names for Regulus is the Latin Cor Leonis (which in turn is likely the root of Corleone), the name Regulus Syndicate may be interpreted as a vague reference to some sort of "space mafia".

Series Resurrecta

The Syndicate is featured in the SR campaign Serendipity as the Terran bloc controlling the systems of Regulus, Polaris and Sirius, plus two enclave planets in Epsilon Pegasi, Erato and Loacoon. It was one of the first blocs in Pan-Terran space to be constituted in 2335 as the GTA collapsed as the ruling authority for all Terrans trapped outside Sol. Its military forces are known to be efficient and rely heavily on upgrades and improvements of Great War era spacecraft and warships, but completely new designs are also present among their ranks. Though not in an open state of rivalry with the Vasudans, the Regulans - unlike other blocs in Pan-Terran space - are somehow less likely to cooperate with them in economic endeavors. Furthermore, although no clear information on the matter has ever been disclosed, the Syndicate is suspected to host several former members of the rogue GTI forces that carried out the Hades Rebellion, as evidenced by the presence in Syndicate fleets of a notable number of once GTI-manufactured assets and weapons, such as the Loki fighter, the Zeus bomber and the Serkr torpedo.
